The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sigue cosechando premios alrededor del mundo. En esta ocasión el juego fue reconocido como el mejor título del año, ahora por parte de los desarrolladores japoneses.
La revista Famitsu se encargó de encuestar a varios desarrolladores locales por sus juegos predilectos del año para así formar un listado con los 100 títulos preferidos. Como se esperaría el rank está conformado en su mayoría por juegos que se crearon en Japón, así como de varios para móviles. Sin embargo, destaca que los tres primeros lugares del podio se lo llevaron juegos exclusivos de consolas (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Dragon Quest XI y NieR: Automata) y que, por algún motivo, el Mini SNES consiguió colarse al top 10.
Cabe mencionar que el listado no se limitó a solamente contemplar títulos de este año sino a aquellos que los desarrolladores más les gustaron y/o siguen jugando; de ahí que aparezcan algunos juegos anteriores. Asimismo, en éste se incluyeron a otras personas que trabajan en el medio como actores de voz o personalidades.
